The Arctic Foxes
On February 1, 2019, BSA renamed the iconic Scouting Program from “Boy Scouts” to “Scouts BSA” allowing girls to join for the first time. Our troop was chartered in November 2019 and was one of the first female troops in Nassau County.

Our Goal
To help our youth develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lifetime and prepare them to make the right choices for themselves, their families, their communities through understanding and practicing of the Scout Oath and Law. Along this journey they will share adventures, create memories, and develop lifelong friendships.
The Aims of Scouting
Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, and Leadership
We are an “Outdoor Troop” with an active schedule of camping adventures, community service, leadership, and advancement.
Membership is open to all girls who are 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade, or who are 10 years old and have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award or are age 11 but not yet 18.
